Mark Forrest is an artist & designer who has quickly gained wide experience in across the creative industries
All of Mark’s creative work draws on his diverse and exciting experience to date, as well as the exposure he has enjoyed to the talents and influence of many people.
From his early schooling in photography and applied art through his first class degree in theatre arts at Rose Bruford College, he has developed a range of skills and applications including scenery and set design and production, sculpting, silk and batik processes for flags, drapes and banners and latterly, designing and managing large-scale immersive events for major international companies.
He has worked with the Royal Opera House, alongside one of the UK’s leading silk artists, Ali Pretty and more recently is providing concept, design and production input for large-scale events for major international customers in the UK, Europe, Russia and Ireland. He has undertaken photo and music video shoots and designed several launch events in the music and TV world.
Mark has also been influenced by a period spent in Kolkata whilst on a design training course which has led to him to commissioning and importing a unique and stylish range of artisan-design household furnishing products which will shortly be launched via an e-commerce venture he is developing.
